Haverhill, formerly of Methuen Giuseppina (Rinella) Polizzotti, 85, of Haverhill, formerly of Methuen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family which shared in her last hours before entering Eternal Life in Heaven with Our Lord God, last Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Penacook Place in Haverhill. She was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily Italy on June 16, 1928, and was the youngest daughter to the late and dearly beloved Mr. and Mrs. Agostino and Rosina (Pace) Rinella.
Mrs. Polizzotti was raised and educated in Termini Imerese Sicily Italy, married her beloved husband, Serafino, on December 14, 1959. In 1960, they left their family in Italy and arrived in the United States. Serafino and Matt Flynn Authentic Jersey Guiseppina settled in Pittsburg, Pa., at her beloved sister Rosina and son John Graviano, and dearest brother Guseppi and his wife Maria home. Settled in and enjoying the birth of their son, Anthony, in 1961. In 1963, they moved to Lawrence, Mass., and started their life as a new rising Immigrant family. Giuseppina cared for her family in this new world, making sure that her family was well cared for at home, while her beloved husband, Serafino, grasped the American dream. While living in Lawrence and then Methuen, and raising her family, she went to work as a seamstress and used the profession she knew well for Grieco Brothers Clothing, where she retired from in 1994. After her retirement she enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends. Guisseppina enjoyed traveling with her husband, visiting their friends and family. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church and a member of St. Rita Sodality.
She was the adoring wife of the late Mr. and Christopher R. and Mrs. Guseppi and Maria Rinella of Methuen; predeceased sisters, Mrs. Rosina Graviano of Methuen and sisters, Mrs. Maria Lococo and Mrs. Gina Cala of Italy. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. John and Enza with daugther, Rosanna Graviano, of Methuen, Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Emanuel Quadros and Pam Cook and family of Lawrence, Mass., and Erica Quadros of North Hadley, Mass.; sisterinlaw, Mrs. Gina Frittitta of Methuen; nephews, Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. and Mrs.

Londonderry, NH Raymond H. He was born on October 17, 1933, in Lawrence, Mass., a son of the late Vilmont and Alice (Lemay) Matt Flynn Black Jersey Chenard. Raymond proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Cardinal Health in Peabody, Mass., in 1995, previously working for Frank C. Methuen Roger G. Jones, 87, of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Methuen Health Rehabilitation Center, Methuen. Mr. Jones was born November 15, 1925, to Herbert W. and Irene (Gage) Jones. Roger was very active in many sports through his years in Methuen schools. He worked many years as a machinist at Merrimac Spool Reel, Haverhill. He enjoyed many years with good friends and family at Province Lake in New Hampshire. Raymond, NH Born in North Andover, Mass., the son of Albert E. and Nora (Connors) Knuepfer.
Salem, NH Roland E. He was born in Lawrence, Mass., on July, 11, 1945, to Teresa (Levesque) and Roland E. Lamirande, Sr. He grew up and was educated in Lawrence. He was a resident of Salem for the past 17 years. Before becoming ill, Roland was a fork lift operator for Crown, Cork, Seal in Lawrence, Mass., for 9 years. He also worked for various cab companies in Lawrence and in the restaurant business as well. He was a member of St. Even though he was sick for many years, Roland always had a smile on his face and liked to joke around with his family. He enjoyed playing darts in a league with his friends, loved to fish and enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and hockey games on TV. He coached youth basketball and kids’ dart teams. Roland enjoyed taking his daughter, Michelle, and nephew, Peter, to ride in BMX races. Wherever Roland went, his daughters were always by his side. He was a great father and grandfather, whom they will miss very much. He was predeceased by his mother, Teresa (Levesque) Lamirande; his children, Kevin, Christine, and David and his grandson, Scott. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 47 years, Sandra C. Born in England in 1925, he served proudly on a mine sweeper in the British Royal Navy in WWII, and played professional soccer for Middlesbrough, England, before emigrating to the United States in 1948. He was the owner of Home Decorating Center in Bradford, Mass., and Park Haven Rest Home in Haverhill, Mass. In 1975, he became the operations manager of the Boston Garden Sports Arena and held that position until his retirement in 1985.
